Composition
Restoring Penny
The final score from my master's thesis in sound design. Utilizing the development of a new script and a sound design simultaneously, I explored the relationship between sound and playwriting by asking: How can having a soundscape that shifts and transforms with each revision help to shape the world of the script? Fireworks, A Poem
Fireworks in my eyes Behind my eyelids rainbows caress my corneas This should be beautiful I want this to be beautiful But all I can feel is the sound hitting my head Breaking stones against skull Stay center Keep balance Everything will be okay I tell myself this over and over again And over and over and over and over Sometimes I even believe it Deep breath in Deep breath out Exploding rainbows when I close my eyes Receding into the cavernous echo behind my lashes Deep breath in Gone for a moment Deep breath out Deep breath in Deep breath out Deep breath Deep breath Deep breath Gone for a moment Back again Back again Back again |
